“An intimate and peaceful environment, here to offer a warm welcome to everyone”
Churchwardens:

Our much beloved little church sits prettily in the middle of the village of Little Yeldham, surrounded by beautiful farmland. Its tiled roof, rubble wall and unpretentious timber belfry give it a warm and homely look. It is the centre of Christian worship in our small, friendly community.
We hold a regular pattern of services held here three Sunday mornings per month, two of which include Holy Communion and the other one is a lay lead service.
St John the Baptist Church, Little Yeldham is marking the centenary of the death of each of the nine men from the village who gave their lives during the First World War by placing a copy of their Commonwealth War Graves Commission Certificate and a candle in the North window.
The active “Friends of St John the Baptist” group hold a very good quality annual fundraising and social event, providing the opportunity to bring together the community, families and friends in a local setting.
In addition to this, other social events are organised by the group, including regular “guided walks”, from spring to autumn, which typically finish at a pub, with optional food and drink for both walkers and those who are only able to join us for the meal.
