“A focal point of village life”
Churchwardens:
Mrs Tracy Goodchild, Sible Hedingham Tel: 07530244799
Our friendly church is nestled in the picturesque village of Sible Hedingham and is a hub for the community we serve. Our traditional and caring ethos means everyone is welcome through our doors to share in our activities and become part of our community.
Dating back to the 14th century, our beautiful church is a testament to the strong history of worship in the area, with Roman tiles incorporated in the brickwork, Victorian stained glass windows, Medieval graffiti and a monument to Sir John Hawkwood, a 14th century soldier who was born in Sible Hedingham.
Surrounded by open space and green fields, St Peter’s is wonderfully situated on a hill in an older part of the village and a short walk from the centre of the village.
As well as our regular services, St Peter’s often hosts a variety of functions throughout the year which draws the community together.

This area is for News and Events for St Peter’s Church.
